by Kevin M. White

Please use the newest version of super when using or upgrading to macOS 27 Golden Gate. Older versions of super do not support macOS 27 Golden Gate.

Introduction

S.U.P.E.R.M.A.N. (or just super) is open-source software that provides administrators with a comprehensive solution to encourage and enforce macOS updates, non-system Apple software updates (like Safari), Jamf Pro Policies, or enforced system restarts. Further, super offers a broad range of options for customizable dialogs, notifications, schedules, deferrals, and deadlines. In other words, super makes the macOS update experience better for both users and administrators.
