Testing DUET or Clover Bootloaders to Emulate UEFI on a Bios machine,
Bios -> USB pen drive -> UEFI -> SSD or M.2 with UEFI OS Grub 20.04.x LTS / Win8.1x64
works ok on 1 CPU, "same board"
but Fail to Boot installing dual CPU.
Machine:
Tyan S8232
AMD Opteron 63xx 86 / 28 / 08
there are other dual CPU boards from Asus and Supermicro for G34 socket, but havent tested.
Area51 had a website with Custom Bios, that allows to Overclock, but never installed "untested".
manually updating drivers on the USB pen drive, does Not solve the problem.
has something to do with Time...
sometimes takes too much time to initialize, detect and skips the menu, sometimes freeze.
