Hi, I'm Xe. I develop software so you don't have to. I'm a software developer, technical educator, and developer advocate based in Ottawa, Canada.

My biggest project right now is Anubis, a program that implements the Cloudflare bot filtering layer on servers you can look at. This is a shockingly complicated project because the latest wave of AI crawler bots look exactly like Google Chrome on the wire. Anubis helps organizations big and small stay on the Internet, including but not limited to:

A lot of the rest of what I'm working on is the supporting infrastructure for Anubis including but not limited to the enterprise deployment features, the integration testing, and more.

Sponsorship helps me become and remain independent so that I can help protect the small internet from the onslaught of doom that the AI industry is subjecting against the rest of the world.
