Please add/support sunshine builds for OpenSUSE Tumbleweed & Tumbleweed Slowroll #1025
Select Topic AreaFeature Request BodyHi, Can you please add support for Opensuse Tumbleweed and Tumbleweed Slowroll builds? Tumbleweed and TW Slowroll are arguably the most stable rolling release distributions. It would be awesome to see packages built for these distributions as well. Thanks a lot! |

What was the specific CUDA error? I think I’ve fixed it (at least for my system) but I can’t test it because the build crashes at some point due to running out of disk space..... |

I did it! After many attempts, numerous changes to the build file, and a fried SSD, I managed to create a build for the latest package versions on Tumbleweed. The build file I wrote won't work with Fedora or Leap anymore—I’d need your help with that—but Sunshine is running perfectly, even with NVENC. Certain things in the old version simply weren't right for Tumbleweed, and I also had to use my system's CUDA to complete the build. Where should I share my build file? As a Gist? |

Sorry, I'm not sure about build packages..... perhaps this could be solved by building with packman (opensuse's community repo)? |

Yeah! Please do that! There is a tumbleweed build in the games:tools repository, but no matter what i do, NVENC is not working. I am pretty sure the build there is the problem. The copr build is only for Leap and Flatpak/AppImage are not supporting KMS. Thats why i cannot use sunshine on Opensuse Tumbleweed without building it myself |

I tried AppImage and Flatpak today but it really didnt work well...native package is just sooo much better |
