FWIW I'm unable to reproduce on macOS

$ tools/test.py --repeat 9999 test/parallel/test-performance-function.js -t 1 
[04:10|% 100|+ 9999|-   0]: Done                             

All tests passed.

This is trivially reproducible, just add more loops (and drop m body).

Always throws on my macbook air at some iteration.

With original m but reduced iterations it also reproduces locally:
