Color Python Properties

I want to color python properties with a different color than regular attributes. Currently, there is no difference between their textMate and semantic tokens, but the IDE actually CAN distinguish between them, as seen in the tooltip:

should make the request to the up stream grammar https://github.com/MagicStack/MagicPython
however it seems abandoned

Alex Ross (@alexr00) is there already a request for a new python grammar?

No plan to replace the python grammar right now. But this does sound like something semantic tokens in the Python extension could do.

This issue has been fixed in prerelease version 2025.12.101, which we've just released. You can find the changelog here: CHANGELOG.md
