Business Analytics Student | Physics Enthusiast | ML Enthusiast
I am a second-year Business Analytics and Finance student at Bayes Business School, bridging the gap between the mathematical rigour of a Theoretical Physics foundation from Imperial College London and advanced predictive modelling.
π A Supercut
- NLP & Semantic Search: Integrated vector-based multimodal search engine using BERT, FastAPI, and Docker during my Perforce Software internship.
- Multi-modal AI: Building a recommendation system for Spotify using PyTorch to process audio previews, lyrics, and album art via CNNs and Transformers. We are currently planning on commercialising this and indexing as much of the entire Spotify song database as possible (will be at this website).
- FinTech & Trading: Explored arbitrage, market-making, and market movement prediction during the Optiver "Ready, Trader, Go" competition; predicted turnover rates, default risk, conducted market-basket analysis, sector-specific business conditions indices, customer segmentation on bank data; algorithmic portfolio management on six stocks during period of high volatility (2026 Iran-US War), earning over 1% return; won two competitions (with cash prizes) on fallout from Trump's 2025 tariffs, and predicting UK student engagement with FinTech and crypto products (e.g. remittances).
- Social Impact: Created and showcased Altruist, the "Bloomberg Terminal for Charities," winning the Innovate Hackathon with a responsive React/Firebase architecture. Produced free, open-source GCSE textbook that was distributed in a top-10 ranked UK grammar school (resulting in record GCSE results); as well as resources for learning Classics. Currently working on the Textbook Project, a project to "end all projects".
- Languages: Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, Pandas), R, SQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), JavaScript (React, TypeScript), Rust.
- I am currently planning on learning (or improving): C++, Go, Julia, Lean, C#, Kotlin, Swift, Scala, MongoDB.
-
Tools: Docker, Git, Power BI, Tableau,
$\LaTeX$ , EViews, FastAPI, VSCode, GitHub, Jekyll.
- Winner, Bayes Data Olympics 2025, and in 2026. 2026 Entrepeneurial Hackathon with Deloitte.
- Bayes Academic Scholarship (awarded to the top 10%).
- Creator of Royana Font, which has reached 10,000+ downloads and is used globally in commercial packaging and books.
- πΉ Musician: I enjoy playing the piano, as well as composing, transcribing, and organising events. I possess perfect (absolute) pitch which might be my biggest flex, and am also quite good at improv.
- π΄ Not Just Academics: I'm into long-distance cycling, running, and hitting the gym. Also basketball
- π Polyglot: Iβm a native English speaker, advanced in French (C1) and Chinese (HSK 5), and currently learning Japanese (N3), Italian (B1), Spanish (A2), Norwegian (A1), Dutch (A1), Latin (> GCSE), and Ancient Greek (> GCSE). My current focus, however, is on Italian, and Japanese, with the target of attaining fluency in Italian by the end of 2026 (and Japanese by 2028). I plan on starting Slovak soon, taking the HSK 5 and 6 by 2028, with Portuguese, German, Arabic, and Russian on the back-burner (in that order). See more.
