Ciao, I'm Lindsey 👋

Engineer at the Intersection of Product, Growth & Experience

The rare engineer who understands both the code and the customer.

I'm a full stack engineer with 5+ years of experience building production-grade systems and client-facing products. I started in marketing, fell in love with coding somewhere along the way, and have spent the last 6 years running a boutique digital creative agency while working corporate engineering roles simultaneously. I build things end to end: strategy, brand, code, launch, growth.

What I'm Working With

I speak: HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, SQL, GraphQL

I build with: React, Next.js, Angular, Node.js, Express, NestJS, GatsbyJS, React Native, Tailwind, Styled Components

I store data in: PostgreSQL, MongoDB

I also know: Git, Figma, Prisma, Mongoose, Sanity.io

Where I've Been

Alors Creative — Founder & Full Stack Engineer | 2020 - Present Boutique digital creative agency delivering end-to-end web platforms combining brand strategy with full stack engineering.

At Home — Full Stack Software Developer | 2022 - 2026 Large-scale e-commerce engineering for a home decor retailer with 260+ US stores. Ramped up independently, got promoted within a year, left it better than I found it.

7-Eleven (7Next) — Full Stack Software Engineer, Contract | 2021 - 2022 Built full stack features for the Store Management Portal for 7-Eleven's cashierless store R&D concept using Angular, TypeScript, NestJS, and Prisma.

PulteGroup — Marketing Coordinator | 2018 - 2020 Where it all started. And where a CMS that kept breaking accidentally changed the entire direction of my career.

How I Think About Building

I care about the person on the other side of the screen as much as I care about the code. My marketing background means I'm always thinking about why something is being built, not just how.

You can either sit in shit or do something about it. I tend to do something about it.

Currently

  • Building and launching eStump
  • Rebuilding my portfolio site
  • Preparing for a move to Florence, Italy 🇮🇹
  • Open to Product Engineer, Growth Engineer, and UX Engineer roles
