multiple GHSA go packages with invalid semver events

There are multiple GHSAs with invalid semver events.

The flagged events are not valid semver strings (they all have trailing dotted portions).

Expected behaviour
SEMVER-type events should have valid semver strings, excepting the special values.

@hdonnay thank you for the report.

For GHSA records, OSV fetches them directly from upstream, and the invalid SemVer strings are originating directly from GHSA.

You can see the invalid fixed versions in the raw GHSA JSON records here:

Would you mind reporting these issues directly to GHSA? Once GitHub updates their records, OSV will ingest the updated data.

My concern with attempting to report these to the GitHub Advisory Database is they're marked as "ECOSYSTEM" events there, but "SEMVER" in osv. Where/how does that change occur?

Regardless, osv should verify semver strings so that it's adhering to its own API.

When OSV imports a record, if the ecosystem is SemVer we mark these events to be SEMVER.

We are actively working on improving the quality of our records, for now, please raise the issue with GHSA.
