LICENSE.md should be attached to the @github/copilot NPMJS package

I would like to use this in an enterprise environment. As part of our process, we scan code before we mirror it into the enterprise repo.

As part of the process, it makes sure the code is licensed in a manner that we can use it.

I am getting a license error that it can not find the license.

I am not sure if this is because of how it is setup in NPMJS or GitHub.

I already took care of one of the dependencies, can you please take a look so I can use this.

Hi @jshingler! The use of this software is governed by GitHub's Pre-release license terms -- we have a license.md on the repo but it looks like we never attached it to the NPM package. Thanks for the callout!

Confirmed, ... we are now finding the license, ...

The license is being rejected as an unknown license.

What are the plans for moving to a std license

I am also seeing if we can recognize the license

It is a long process for us to accept a new license type.
