Hi,
I found a strange issue when using SingleFile on my iPad.
Environment
- iPad
- iPadOS 26.0 (first public release)
- Safari
- Latest SingleFile from the App Store
What happens
When I save a page with SingleFile, everything looks normal.
The HTML file appears in Safari's Downloads list, and I can open it from there without any problem.
However, the file never appears in the Files app. It's not in the Downloads folder, and searching in Files doesn't find it either.
Steps to reproduce
- Open a webpage in Safari.
- Save it with SingleFile.
- Wait for the download to finish.
- Open Safari's Downloads list.
- Check the Downloads folder in the Files app.
Expected
The saved HTML file should appear in the Files app, just like a normal downloaded HTML file.
Actual
The file is only visible in Safari's Downloads list.
Some extra information
- Downloading a normal
.html file with Safari works correctly.
- The same version of SingleFile also works correctly on my iPhone running iOS 26.5.
- So far I've only been able to reproduce this on my iPad running iPadOS 26.0.
I'm not sure whether this is caused by Safari/iPadOS or something specific to SingleFile, but I wanted to report it in case you've seen something similar.
If you need me to test anything or provide more information, I'd be happy to help.
