@ebembi-crdb FYI the pathname that this release note is PRing against appears to be incorrect, I think that is why the build is failing. The correct pathname for this file to live under is src/current/_includes/releases/v26.2/v26.2.1.md

this PR is also missing the other artifacts that are required for a release, i.e. updating the versions.csv and releases.yml files

this was formerly handled by the release-notes.py script, and then later by the release notes API endpoint

(all of the above is my understanding from how this has worked up until now unless that process has changed, i'm not sure)

it appears that this PR was created by a more llm-driven process? if you need me to file an issue in EDUENG please let me know, this is a regression from what we had before

i'm gonna try regenerating mechanically using the old curl API call and see if that works

(update: i am just doing the "make binaries available for v26.2.1 task" which is actually unrelated to this PR but i stumbled upon this PR via codex - my comments re: its correctness still stand, but let me know if this was just a test PR and you don't actually want feedback etc)
