[Bug]: "You're out of extra usage" error in OpenCode when using Claude Max subscription

When using OpenCode with my Claude Max subscription, I'm getting the following error after sending a message:

You're out of extra usage. Add more at claude.ai/settings/usage and keep going.

I subscribe to Claude Max and use OpenCode through that subscription. This error appears even on simple prompts (e.g. sending "hello").

Environment

• OpenCode: latest
• OS: Windows 11
• Provider: Anthropic Claude Max (OAuth via Claude subscription)
• Model: Claude Opus 4.6
• Mode: Build (Default)
• Plugin: opencode-anthropic-oauth (by @shahidshabbir-se) — installed as a workaround for the earlier OAuth 429 issue (see [Bug]: Anthropic Claude Pro/Max OAuth fails at /provider/anthropic/oauth/callback on both 1.2.27 and 1.1.37 (Windows, invalid authorization code) #18362). Auth succeeds; the error below happens after authentication.

Expected behavior
Messages should go through normally using my Claude Max subscription quota, without hitting an "out of extra usage" limit on basic prompts.

Actual behavior
The response is immediately replaced with the error:
"You're out of extra usage. Add more at claude.ai/settings/usage and keep going."

Notes

• My Claude Max subscription is active and working in claude.ai directly.
• This happens on fresh sessions with very small prompts, so it does not appear to be actual usage exhaustion on my side.
• I'm using the opencode-anthropic-oauth community plugin to handle Claude Pro/Max auth (the built-in flow was broken in my previous issue [Bug]: Anthropic Claude Pro/Max OAuth fails at /provider/anthropic/oauth/callback on both 1.2.27 and 1.1.37 (Windows, invalid authorization code) #18362). OAuth/token refresh works correctly; only the "extra usage" error is blocking me now.
• Possibly related to how OpenCode (or the plugin) reports/consumes Max subscription quota vs. extra usage when talking to Anthropic.

1. Open OpenCode Web (connected via Claude Max OAuth)
2. Start a new session
3. Select model Claude Opus 4.6, mode Build, Default
4. Send any prompt (e.g. "hello")
5. Observe the error banner: "You're out of extra usage. Add more at claude.ai/settings/usage and keep going."
