Closing as not planned for the archival C++ release. CDT++ will retain its existing OFF triangulation output and use simple structured interchange files with Jupyter/Polars and disposable Parquet analysis caches when analysis support is needed, matching causal-triangulations and delaunay. HDF5 can be reconsidered only if a concrete requirement emerges for capabilities such as large restartable states or chunked multidimensional data.
