Sorry for the trouble. We’re currently transitioning to new versions of both ViennaPS and ViennaLS, which may cause some temporary compatibility issues.

A new release (ViennaPS 4.0.0 together with ViennaLS 5.0.0) will be available soon and will resolve these problems.

As a temporary fix, you can install the compatible ViennaLS 4.5.0 version before installing ViennaPS:

pip install ViennaLS==4.5.0
pip install ViennaPS

ViennaPS 4.0.0 has now been released.
The new version is fully compatible with ViennaLS 5.0.0, and installation from PyPI should now work again as expected.

You can update using:

pip install -U ViennaPS

Importing and running the package should no longer produce any compatibility issues.

Universal developers, I have noticed that the newly released Python version runs many examples very quickly, far exceeding the exe I compiled with VS 2022. Why is this?
