Qwen CLI when asked to squash, did an interactive rebase meaning "you do it yourself". Exact prompt was:

lets squash into 1 commit, pretend we did it right the first time

What did you expect to happen?

It should squash without my help (and push to Github, in my case).

Since there's no git squash command in the git command library, and git rebase -i is usually used as an interactive tool for squashing commits, this isn't an issue related to qwen-code, and I will close this issue. Alternatively, you might be able to search for git squash skills in the community, which might help you resolve the problem.

@LaZzyMan To clarify — non-interactive squashing is straightforward to automate:

git reset --soft HEAD~N && git commit -m "message"

No interactive editor required. This is a scriptable, automatable primitive that Claude Code uses for its squash commit workflow. I'm requesting Qwen Code implement the same. Please reopen as a feature request.
