Request
This ticket is to request the necessary scripts ahead of the upcoming Biography and Cancer Center migration. A similar request for Blogs is documented in #5256 . The request is for:
- The script(s) to limit, and then reenable, author permissions for the Biography and Cancer Center content types ahead of the full migration deployment.
- The bash script(s) used to run the migration for Biographies and Cancer Centers.
All scripts should be documented here so it can be referenced during ACSF release testing and for use on deployment night in production by whomever is conducting the deployment.
Context for CMS Permissions
As part of the upcoming Biography and Cancer Center migration release, we will have a content freeze on Biography and Cancer Center pages in the CMS. We want to enforce the content freeze by revoking certain privileges from those users without the Site Admin role. Site Admin users should maintain the ability to edit and publish Press Release content.
The non-Site Admin CMS users should not be able to perform any options on moderation toolbar for Biographies nor Cancer Centers. This includes:
- Translate
- Edit
- Create
- Publish
- Delete
- Revert
- Request archive
- Archive
After the content freeze, the script should be run to reinstate editing permissions for Biographies and Cancer Centers to the pre-content freeze permissions.
