Open source has always been at the heart of Infisical, and we're making some changes to how we organize community input.
What's changing?
We're moving all feature requests from Issues to Discussions. Issues will now be reserved for bug reports and technical problems.
Why the change?
Many of the "issues" we receive are actually feature requests or UI/UX suggestions that benefit from broader community feedback and discussion. By separating these into Discussions, we can:
- Let the community upvote the features that matter most to you
- Prioritize our roadmap based on real demand
- Keep Issues focused on bugs, making them easier to triage and resolve
- Give contributors clearer visibility into impactful work they can pick up
What to expect
We'll be tackling issues one at a time (our goal is to get down to zero), coordinating with community members or handling them internally. This more structured approach helps us move faster on what matters most.
More updates coming soon -- [swags and more 😄]
