Private contacts names doesn't show only mobile numbers

Steps to reproduce the bug

0. From maybe the latest release 1.9.0. I have this bug.
1. When I open the app there is only phone numbers instead of names.(Fossify private contacts)

Expected behavior

To show names.

Actual behavior

It does not show names.

• in Fossify Contacts to share private contacts with other Fossify products is ON, I have tried to turn ON/OFF
• Tried to freeze Fossify apps and enable again
• deleted caches
• the Fossify Dialer receives those private contacts and works perfectly
• 1.9.0 version for beginning this bug is not 100% sure because I rarely use SMS and there was 2 updates "recently".

I see the same problem. Would be extremely useful to have the names of contacts also showing in messages lists and searchable

I confirm. The latest version doesn't display its own private contacts. This is looking worse and worse. Abandonware?

Can confirm this bug, and it's a consistent 100% failure for me, not intermittent.

Setup:
Fossify Contacts version: 1.6.0
Fossify Messages version: 1.9.0
Device: Redmi Note 10 Pro (sweet)
OS: LineageOS 23.2 for microG
Contacts stored in: Phone Storage (private)
"Show private contacts to Fossify Dialer, Fossify SMS Messenger and Fossify Calendar" is enabled in Fossify Contacts settings

Expected: Contact name shown in message thread and conversation list.

Actual: Only the raw phone number is shown, never the contact name.

Additional notes:

Happens regardless of number format (local 074... vs international +4474...)
Happens with contacts that have a single number and contacts with multiple numbers — not related to issue #74

Clearing Fossify Messages app cache does not resolve it

Confirmed Contacts permission is granted to Fossify Messages
