Is there an existing issue for this?
Current Behavior
Tremolos use the calculated note duration as configured (e.g. a 1 bar tremolo on a quarter note is played as 2x an 8th note). This applies is done regardless of tuplets
Expected Behavior
For notes with tuplet a different calculation needs to be applied. (see behind bars p.219 Tremolos Principles of repeated-note abbreviation).
Steps To Reproduce
- Play this alphatex
:8 C4 {gr} C4{ac}.8{tu 3 tp 1} C4 {tu 3 tp 1} C4 {tu 3}
:8 C4 {gr} C4{ac}.8{tu 3 tp 1} C4 {tu 3 tp 1} C4 {tu 3}

As part of this issue we should double check the other effect durations (e.g. trills) for similar rules regarding tuplets.
