The Spektrum brand controllers have the ability to send VTX Control commands to Spektrum brand receivers. It is not part of Forward Programming, it is built into the native protocol.
Spektrum brand VTX's listen to the native SRXL* line and respond to these commands. Betaflight also has support for receiving those commands, and translating them into IRC / Smart Audio for VTX Control.
It would be very handy / useful for Multiprotocol module to support the Spektrum VTX Control system. There are almost no YouTube videos showing this functionality but Spektrum actually had this ability before EdgeTX + lua scripts had it. And it predates forward programming by years.
