partitionLayout now cuts the LDS tile and coordinate tile by their mode-0 (the TDM box) and validates only size<0>. Trailing "rest" modes -- e.g. a PIPE double-buffer on the LDS side, k-tiles on the coordinate side -- pass through untouched and may differ in size. tdm_partition applies the returned mode-0 tiler by-mode (make_tile padded with None per rest mode), so only mode 0 is reshaped and the rest is left alone; the warp slice indexes the nested mode 0. Example 06 streams K tiles through a single reused LDS box, exercising the differing rest sizes (LDS rest = 1, coordinate rest = K).
