• New ‘Add a new child’ action link

• Option to find a child by their NHS number, or perform a demographic search

Add a child by NHS number

• If result, details of patient in PDS shown. User can choose to add this child, or perform a demographic search instead
• After confirming the child, user asked to enter which school the child attends (as this information isn’t provided by PDS)
• Once a school is selected, user taken to new patient record page with a success banner confirming that the child has been added to the team

Add a child by demographic search

• Can search by name, date of birth and postcode
• Results for search criteria shown on following page
• Selecting a child then continues using the same flow as that for a child found by NHS number
