Listener that returns a value

Is there an Listener like API that can return a value?

I've thought about adding a visitor type pattern that would return a value, e.g. have methods like public T VisitNode(Node node) instead of void ListenToNode(Node node) but haven't needed one myself yet. I can look into it if it would be a help, what's your use case?

You can of course just use a context object instead, and store your return value on that. That's mainly how I've been using it.

A visitor api would be more clean than a context object imo

I'll have a think about the best way to do it. It would probably be nice to be able to compose visitors, like we can do with listeners. Then you could just write visitors for the node types you care about.
