Mermaid diagrams

In Typo theme's features Typo Other Parameters is declared: "Mermaid diagrams are supported, you can set light and dark themes in your config and they switch with your blog’s light/dark state. Below are the default values:"

I set the params into hugo.toml and my mermaid code between three backticks (incl. "mermaid") into a hugo page.
Why does typo theme display the mermaid code rather than render it?

Well again, you should not need to do that, I strongly believe your setup is wrong in a way.

You're right, it's my bad. I set up a new base version of typo. Mermaid works like a charm. Sorry for disturbing and thanks a lot for your help.

If I implement Backlinks (requires Hugo v0.147.9 or later) the module upgrades go too. This breaks the Mermaid representations in typo...

What do you need Backlinks for? Could you provide a rendered example I am curios :) Perhaps it's something we can add

My information is structured according to the Zachman Framework, similar to a 'Zettelkasten)'. Links and backlinks create the relationships. Like here and here (Backlinks at the end of the pages).

Honestly I don't know.
Please link a repo if you have it, or manually verify that you're using the latest version of Typo.

This looks like a setup problem rather than a theme one, I just updated the Wiki adding a rendered diagram and everything seems to work without issues.
Try to have a look here and see if your setup is different in some way.
