## Runtime dependencies
The only runtime dependency is org.clojure/clojure, under the Eclipse Public
License 1.0. Depending on an EPL library does not place this work under the
EPL: EPL-1.0's copyleft applies to Contributions to the EPL Program itself,
not to separate works that merely use it. This is the ordinary arrangement for
Apache-2.0-licensed Clojure libraries.
## Test- and benchmark-scope dependencies
These are used to test and to measure against, are declared only in the :test
and :bench aliases, and are NOT distributed in boring's jar. Consumers of
boring never receive them by way of this project.
com.taoensso/nippy Eclipse Public License 1.0
com.s-exp/hako Mozilla Public License 2.0
org.clojure/data.fressian Eclipse Public License 1.0
mvxcvi/clj-cbor Public Domain
criterium/criterium Eclipse Public License 1.0
None of their code is copied into this repository, and none must be.
`boring.stress-test` exercises boring against `taoensso.nippy/stress-data` by
CALLING it as a test-scope dependency. That distinction is load-bearing:
vendoring a copy of that data into this repository would make the containing
file a derivative of EPL-1.0 code, which is precisely what this project's
licensing is arranged to avoid. If the dependency ever becomes inconvenient,
the answer is to write our own corpus, not to copy theirs.
## Test vectors
test/boring/vectors.cljc contains the test vectors from RFC 8949 Appendix A.
