Do you think this badge is a cool achievement for developers?

For me, it feels like a nice way to encourage people to answer questions, help the community, and stay active on GitHub.

Yes, I think it's one of the coolest! A few reasons:
It's one of the few that requires real quality, you can't get it with a script or by automating anything. You genuinely need to help someone, and another person has to validate that your answer was the best one. That gives it a different weight compared to badges anyone can get in 2 minutes.
The visual is also really nice, a brain surrounded by stars perfectly captures the idea of a "brilliant answer."
On the downside, it has one frustrating limitation: you're 100% dependent on someone else marking your answer as accepted. Even if you write the best response in the world, if the post owner disappears or never comes back, you're stuck without the badge. That annoys a lot of people.
Overall, among all GitHub badges, Galaxy Brain is one of the ones that best represents genuine community contribution, which is what makes it special.
