Is this SDK usable with Realsense ROS v2.3.2?

Hi @EuguneHayashida

I take it you mean the last ROS1 release (it might be confusing as 3.2.3 is a ROS2 release)...

In general the answer is yes. You may need to recompile it, though.
ROS1 is no longer being maintained, and no release for it is planned in the near future.

The ROS2 wrapper latest release is v4.0.4 (branch ros2-beta, which will be renamed soon). A new release should be coming in the next week or so, maybe earlier, and it will be compatible with this LibRealSense release. This coming version will be v4.51.1.

Is this SDK unable to be installed on Windows 11 using pip?

Hi @kessmith
We are not aware of any problems with Windows 11, so I asked a colleague to test, and they said:

1. If python version 3.8 manually installed on the system, prebuilt pyrealsense2 package download through pip ok and python examples worked ok too
2. however, if the default python app (version 3.1) is installed from the app store, the pyrealsense2 download through pip fails.

Please note we support Python versions 3.6 and above.

Pleas help me!
