Hi everyone,

I have now three times had my application for GitHub Education denied.

I am a faculty at college (South Dakota Mines and Technology), my account is only associated with my official school email account. I am provided the necessary information under Payment Information.

In my application I allow it to confirm my location, the first time I attached my school issued faculty identification. The second time I attached a better picture of my identification. The second time I had a picture of my identification on top of a pay receipt which showed my address, that I was paid by the school on 3/31/26.

All I get back is:
We were unfortunately not able to verify your academic status. Please address the following issues and apply again.

There is nothing explaining what is missing, and what issues I should address. When I follow the link for common reason, I am constantly pointed to what is wrong with student applications.

How do I correct this and what further proof do I need to provide to show I am a faculty?
