The built-in
pages-build-deploymentworkflow (auto-generated for Jekyll sites) is producing the following warning on every run:Node.js 20 actions are deprecated. The following actions are running on Node.js 20 and may not work as expected: actions/checkout@v4, actions/upload-artifact@v4.
Actions will be forced to run with Node.js 24 by default starting June 2nd, 2026.
Since this workflow is GitHub-managed and not editable by repository owners, we have no way to upgrade these actions ourselves.
Both actions now have Node.js 24-compatible releases available:
Could the pages-build-deployment workflow be updated to use these newer versions before the June 2nd deadline?
