Github Copilot not upgrading after account being verified as a student

My account got verified in the 15th of April, i even received a PRO badge, but when i clicked the link Access/Billing and Licensing/Education Benefits that said i could redeem Copilot through there, it sends me to a page saying im still using Copilot Free, is there something i still need to do?

same issue with me

To prioritize service quality for existing paying customers, we will be pausing new signups for our Student, Pro, and Pro+ plans. Copilot Free remains open for new signups, and existing users can still upgrade between plans.
