Hi, on 01 -st of April 2026 i have been activated my Pro account. My debit card was verified with 10 USD,. I have been using my Pro account and i was very happy, but because of something my account has downgraded to free one and i want to kindly ask you why. I feel very disappointed.

Sorry to hear about the downgrade - that’s definitely frustrating, especially after everything was working fine.
A couple of things might have caused this. The $10 charge you saw was most likely just a temporary authorization to verify your card, not the actual subscription payment. If the full payment didn’t go through afterward (for example due to bank issues, insufficient funds, or restrictions on online payments), the Pro plan could have been canceled automatically.
Another possibility is that the subscription didn’t fully activate or renew after the initial setup, or there was some issue with the billing cycle.
It’s probably best to double-check:
Your billing history in your account settings
Whether the $10 was refunded (which usually means it was just a verification hold)
If your bank blocked or declined the actual charge
If everything looks fine on your end, I’d recommend reaching out to GitHub Support directly — they can see exactly what happened with your subscription and give you a clear answer.
