The Google Play billing sync with GitHub can be flaky. When you pay through Google Play, GitHub's backend relies on a notification from Google confirming the renewal. Sometimes that notification fails silently, so Google charged you but GitHub never got the confirmation. A few things to check before opening a support ticket:
If Google Play shows active but GitHub's billing page shows nothing or shows expired, that confirms the sync failed. At that point, contact GitHub Support and include your Google Play transaction ID (the receipt from the charge). They can manually re-sync the subscription on their end. One thing that speeds up the support process: attach a screenshot of your Google Play subscription screen alongside the receipt, since they'll need to verify both sides before making any changes. |
