This has stalled my workflow and that is frustrating. I missing several days or so. I have a milestone deadline until the end of the month. |

I ran into the same problem a few months back, then switched from copilot entirely. To which I could only assume this is what was happening: From the documentation: Meaning that any time you use the chat feature, regardless of BYOK, it still counts as usage since you are using their feature. I would consider migrating honestly, there are a ton of other tools and IDEs out there with generous free plans. |

I'm also going to migrate away, this is very frustrating |

Same, refuse to pay when I'm using my own local ollama models. this is ridiculous. Going to migrate away from github as well and self host my git projects out of principle at this rate! MicroSh!te |

So I using Copilot Agent in Visual Studio. And just now i can't use the agent.
I am NOT using and don't want to use Copilot models. I've provided my own OpenAI API key and want to use my paid OpenAI models.
Why I can't do that? Why it blocks me with message:
But I am not using Copilot Models, I am using OpenAI ones directly.
