Description
As part of our effort to remove reliance on shim, we are migrating our core instrumentation to monkey patch the methods and run over tracing channel. We will then create subscribers for those events to create the necessary telemetry.
Acceptance Criteria
All methods we previously instrumented with shim on the zlib API will be run over tracing channel and subscribers will create the necessary trace segments.
