can I record the output of giada to a new sample channel?

I noticed that sample channels can be exported to wav, so it would be great to 'capture' (and save) a giada livesession to a .wav file.

Hey @coderofsalvation, you can't capture the output of Giada with Giada itself: you need an external program. We are planning to add a "channel freeze" function in the future (the "export to wav" function only exports the dry sample, without any audio effect). Would that help?

interesting, that channel freeze would print the FX to the source-loop?

Btw. I just noticed various things, which makes the 'render master wav'-feature less important:

• one can just launch audacity/tenacity to capture giada's output
• giada's project-directory contains plain wav-files (so I can do sox -m *.wav output.wav to merge them into one loop, and import them onto my digitech looper pedal) **

** = kudos to the project fileformat/structure, it is so portable...unlike many of my old projectfiles made in proprietary/nonportable formats.
