Hi 👋

I’d be happy to work on this as an incremental contribution.

PR1 (minimal scope):

• Add an IPTV service based on Free-TV/IPTV, exposed via sebuf (aligned with ADDING_ENDPOINTS.md)
• Add basic caching (TTL)
• Add an “IPTV” layer toggle on the map
• Show TV icons only for supported countries
• Click → panel listing channels (link-out only, no embedded player yet)

No heavy dependencies, no streaming logic — just structured discovery + integration.

PR2 (follow-up):

• Optional embedded player with lazy-loaded HLS (e.g. hls.js)
• YouTube/Dailymotion embeds
• Zoom gating / clustering improvements

If that direction sounds good, I’ll start working on PR1 over the next two weeks and keep everything aligned with the existing endpoint structure.

The only open question for phase 2 will be selecting the most lightweight and clean M3U/HLS player integration 😄

PS :
Streaming would rely on:

• Native HLS support (Safari)
• Lazy-loaded hls.js for other browsers
• YouTube/Dailymotion embeds where applicable

No proxying, no content redistribution — just direct playback from publicly available sources.

Totally up if you want to improve what I did
It supports youtube & HLS alike
And on desktop app - it even does proxy HLS, for CNBC to work for instance
