Note: This repository also contains hardware design files, wiring diagrams,
and documentation. The same permissive intent applies to these non-code
materials — you are free to build, modify, manufacture, and sell devices
based on this design. Attribution to Humanix Tech Lab is appreciated but the
license above does not legally require it beyond the standard notice-retention
clause for the software files themselves.
This project involves a physical mobility-assistance device. It is shared
as an open-source proof-of-concept for educational and hobbyist use. There is
NO WARRANTY of fitness for use as a primary mobility device for a person with
a disability — anyone adapting this for real-world assistive use should have
it reviewed by someone with relevant electrical/mechanical safety experience,
particularly the battery and motor-control sections.
