How do you make a plugin?

Hi, I want to implement this feature by making a plugin. That way, people can configure it or opt not to use the extra feature. However, there is an overall lack of information on how to write a plugin with the musikcore SDK, link its dependencies, and compile it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
