how to actually download the bots into your game

can i visually learn?. can you make a video to help me out. im trying so hard to add bots. but i just cant.

Sorry, but i don't have the time to create a video tutorial on how to set up the bot.

All you need to do is to follow the first 3 steps mentioned in the README.md. It's basically just unpacking files and moving them into the right places.

You haven't mentioned if you want to setup a server (SRCDS), or play in single player, or play with friends via P2P.

i am confused with the step number 3 which is where to move the navmesh file. also i was just trying to play single player

You just have to copy all *.txt files from the addon (d3bot\data\d3bot\navmesh\map) into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\data\d3bot\navmesh\map or wherever your Garry's Mod installation lives.

i need d3bot in my gmod data folder too?. i dont wanna sound stupid or anything. its just hard to understand for me

Yes, but only the txt files as i mentioned above go into the data directory of gmod. The rest goes into the addon directory. Once you have the files in the right place and play a supported map (see txt files), it should just work.

so just the texts go into the straight data folder of gmod. or a folder containing the txt files.

also are zombies not supposed to spawn when there is 1 player by default. they arent spawning.

i put 32 players and local server too on gm construct

As example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\data\d3bot\navmesh\map\gm_construct.txt would be a valid path.

Yes, but that only works if all files are installed correctly. Does the !botmod or !bot reloadmesh chat command work?

You screenshot is pointing into the addon folder. Check again to copy these files into GarrysMod/garrysmod/data/d3bot/navmesh/map/ and not GarrysMod/garrysmod/addons/d3bot/data/d3bot/navmesh/map/.

the d3bot addon is now working full functional now.

What do you mean by that? Do you mean how the addon determines the amount of bots to spawn?

All global parameters for that are defined here:

Lines 33 to 38 in 37c28f8

	D3bot.ZombiesPerPlayer = 0.3 -- Number of bot zombies per player.
	D3bot.ZombiesPerPlayerMax = 2.0 -- Limits amount of zombies to this zombie/player ratio. (Not including ZombiesCountAddition)
	D3bot.ZombiesPerPlayerWave = 0.20 -- Number of additional bot zombies every wave for every player on the server.
	D3bot.ZombiesPerMinute = 0 -- Number of additional bot zombies every minute.
	D3bot.ZombiesPerWave = 0.4 -- Number of additional bot zombies every wave.
	D3bot.ZombiesCountAddition = 0 -- Number of additional bot zombies.

You can also use the !botmod chat command to temporarily offset the amount of bots for the current map. !botmod -10 will spawn 10 fewer bots as calculated.
