A clear and concise description of why you need this feature.
I have been using this template that you created @windingwind to undo the automatic change from [[myPage]] to \[\[myPage]] when syncing to obsidian.
Recently, I switched to using the obsidian plugin Obsidian Zotflow to sync my Better Notes to obsidian because unlike obsidian notes created via Better Notes it allows me edit the properties of each note within obsidian, which allows me to turn each note into a task with the obsidian plugin TaskNotes and to use these notes more effectively with obsidian bases.
Unfortunately, now that I'm using ZotFlow to sync these notes, [[myPage]] is being automatically replaced with \[\[myPage]] again (and the same is true of highlights, where ==highlight== is replaced with \==highlight==). This really impedes my ability to make use of these notes from within obsidian given how much I rely on linking notes within obsidian.
To be honest, I don't understand the point of having Better Notes automatically edit something I type in this case, but I understand that you've said in the past that you're sticking with this and have said it is part of "standard of processing markdown".
Describe the solution you'd like
The solution you'd like
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.
Even if you stick with automatic automatic link url escaping, is there any way there could be a setting within the Better Notes settings to turn off automatic link url escaping? Or is there some other way to do this so I can sync my notes to obsidian using Obsidian ZotFlow?
Alternatives you've considered
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
I realize you've built this into Better Notes sync but the notes I can create using Better Notes sync are just really limited by the fact that there's no Better Notes sync plugin within obsidian that allows me to edit file properties (and I can also access my Zotero library within Obsidian using ZotFlow and even create notes en masse).
Anything else?
