Always On Display blinking

First of all, thank you so much for the module, I appreciate it. Especially the full screen always on display, I love it!

The issue with me is that after enabling "always," (never turn off aod) the AOD screen starts to flicker after about 15 seconds. I'm assuming that's because the device tries to enter sleep mode. Because any foreground service activity fixes the problem. For example, running a music player app in the backround, enabling the refresh rate monitor, recording the screen, or a live notification.

I'm not sure if that's because of this module specifically or not, because only after installing it did I start using "Always" instead of the 10 second limit. So maybe you can fix it by putting Always on Display and Lock Screen Editor into "no restriction" mode? Maybe? The settings app doesn't allow it by default, so I can't test it.

If it's not the module's issue then I'm sorry, I just found out this happens.

Hello, what phone do you have using what os version and what root manager?
Is the flickering continuous or only happens once?
This module only enables the functions it doesn't implement them in, I don't think this isse can be fixed since it appears to be only for your device

My phone is POCO F6, running on HyperOS 3.0.7.0 but the ROM is xiaomi.eu, not the official ROM. The root manager is Magisk. The flickering is continuous, it doesn't stop.

For now I'm getting by with an app called Macrodroid - it keeps the phone awake by running a background service after I turn off the phone. It's just that it eats up all the battery life, but I guess it's worth it since full screen aod is the best thing I've ever seen. I'll go to sleep now, but tomorrow I'll see if it's your module or the phone itself, and I'll let you know. Thank you.

Try manually installing the Xiaomi HyperAI APK (you have to download ot first, open default Mi File Manager and install it from there)

I installed the latest update, but unfortunately that doesn't fix it. I'll keep using a background service to fix it then, I guess it's my phone that's not cut for full screen aod, so it kinda freaks out lol. Thank you for responding!
