Description

@oracle2062

✈ Pre-Flight checks

  • I don't have SentinelOne antivirus installed (see above for the solution)
  • I have searched in the issues (open and closed) but couldn't find a similar issue
  • I have searched in the pyRevit Forum for similar issues
  • I already followed the installation troubleshooting guide thoroughly
  • I am using the latest pyRevit Version

🐞 Describe the bug

When using the Move Viewport Tool, the pyrevit error window quickly flashes. You are then prompted to select a viewport as usual. Once selecting a viewport, you get a popup reading, "Invalid selection. Please try again".

⌨ Error/Debug Message

ERROR [pyrevit.revit.selection] Failed to create temporary sketch plane: Cannot set sketch plane in this view.

DEBUG [pyrevit.revit.selection] Picking elements: Element message: Select a viewport multiple: False world: False

♻️ To Reproduce

  1. Go to a sheet with a viewport on it. Viewport can be pinned or unpinned.
  2. Select the Move Viewport Label tool from the pyrevit ribbon.

⏲️ Expected behavior

Should function as before in previous versions. You are prompted to select a viewport, then the location where the viewport title should move to.
