Speed up initial start

Right now, this blocks execution on startup until the indexes are built. It would be more efficient to build the indexes at build time and package them with each release.

Looking into this, it seems the sphere-knn package provides access to the built indexes, but is no longer maintained. From my limited testing, it seems easy to serialize indexes to JSON.
