Do you still think, the state of the project is so early that you can't recommend productive use?

I would say that for me, this is a hobby project -- I do not use it in production setting.

I imagine (as you said) that it could be used in production without any issue, but given that it is not yet at a 1.0 release I cannot guarantee stability between releases.
