Syntax Highlighting dropdown is not showing selected language

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'new snip'
2. Click on 'syntax highlight' dropdown
3. Select any language
4. Selected language is not shown

Expected behavior
Selected language should be shown
