The following diagram highlights the different controls used by the xamGeographicMap control. To re-style a particular item, first identify the TargetType in the diagram then identify the corresponding Style property/properties in the table that follows.

The following table summarized properties for styling visual elements of the xamGeographicMap control:

TargetType	Style Property	Description
xamGeographicMap	xamGeographicMap. Style	Specifies a style for the xamGeographicMap control.
xamOverviewPlusDetailPane	xamGeographicMap. OverviewPlusDetailPaneStyle	Specifies a style for the xamGeographicMap control’s chart overview pane.
Line	xamGeographicMap. CrosshairLineStyle	Specifies a style for the xamGeographicMap control’s crosshair.
Series (All Types of Series) For example: GeographicSymbolSeries GeographicShapeSeries GeographicPolylineSeries	xamGeographicMap. Series[x]. Style	Specifies a style for a series in the xamGeographicMap control’s Series collection.
Marker	GeographicSymbolSeries. MarkerStyle	Specifies a style for markers of a series that inherits MarkerSeries class (for example, Geographic Symbol Series).
Path	GeographicShapeSeries. ShapeStyle GeographicPolylineSeries. ShapeStyle	Specifies a style for shapes of a geographic series.
