Why do some icons show but other dont, even when the icons are showing in package details ?

Hi g2eat,
Thanks for the report. This is a bug on our side and has been fixed in #5311.

The issue was caused by the package list filtering out some cached icon formats (most notably .ico), even though the details pane could display them. The same fix also addresses incorrect ICO handling and icons not being retried after a temporary download failure.

The fix was merged after v2026.2.7, so it will be included in the next release.

In the meantime, Settings → Interface → Clear the icon cache may recover icons affected by temporary download failures.

If the issue persists after updating, please let us know which packages and package manager are affected.
