Customizing Default Install Location

So I have my computer set up to where the majority of my programs should be installed on my D: drive, and leave my C: drive mostly for Windows itself, in the event I have to reinstall it. I previously set the default install location to be D:\Programs\%PACKAGE%, however, I recently noticed that it is interpreting this as the full package ID rather than just the name, as I thought. So as a result, I have a ton of duplicate installation entries from when I initially installed my programs manually, and when UniGetUI updated them. I did find the file that would allow me to customize this further, however I don't know the syntax that would allow me to just set the install path as the package name by default, nor do I know if this is even supported.

Does anyone happen to know how I would set it so that, for example, Notepad++ installs as just that and not Notepad++.Notepad++, or am I going to need to go through and manually set all the install paths?

Saludos! tengo una situación similar....ya traté de configurar la ruta "personalizada"; pero, por algún motivo UniGetUI no sabe o no puede seguir esa "instrucción"...estuve tratando de encontrar soluciones con un Chat de IA.....Por el momento, lo que me ha valido es activar la instalación Interactiva" que me permita ir (paso a paso) seleccionando la ruta que me interesa (aunque, también tiene sus detalles si es que por algún motivo tuve que elegir la Unidad C: en lugar de la Unidad E: que es por defecto mi unidad de apps de instalación). De momento, esta opción me sirve, aunque no es tan rápida y "automática" como me gustaría; pero me agiliza el no tener que ir a cada repositorio de la app por actualizar...

%PACKAGE% is a little confusing here. It gets replaced with the package ID rather than the display name, which is why you're seeing Notepad++.Notepad++.

There isn't a %NAME% placeholder to use just Notepad++ at the moment.

As a workaround, you can override the install path individually for apps where you want a cleaner folder name. For example, you can set Notepad++ to D:\Programs\Notepad++ in its installation options. This will take priority over the default path.

That said, I can see how having a %NAME% placeholder would be useful here, so I've opened a ticket on my side to look into adding it.
